Jazz and More Festival Sibiu is representative of the current festival of contemporary music. The festival features artists who have chosen instead to explore the ordinary convention. Jazz and More is designed for those who prefer living art instead of a musical overproduction series.
The festival aims to fill a void in this niche and to build the audience for a very special musical area. Jazz and More Festival presents concerts, recitals club, jam-sessions, multimedia presentations, contemporary music seminars, work-shops on the technique of improvisation. CDs and videos with the artists participating in the festival will be published.
Artists present at this year’s edition: BASSX3, The Light Trio, Superimpose, Lurk Lab, Uwe Oberg, Mircea Tiberian & Chris Dahlgren, Grix, Tom Rainey Trio and many more.
The festival will take place from October 15 to 17, 2010 at Gong Theatre (Odobescu St.
no. 4, Sibiu).
