Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) is the most important film festival in Romania opened to international competition.
TIFF is back to Sibiu, between 13 and 17 June, with 50 films and a series of related events that will transform the city in the film capital. This year the festival will take place in six locations: The Big Square, Habitus Cultural Center, Gong Theater, Music Pub, the Open Air Museum and Cisnădioara.
The 6th edition has taken into account the Baroque theme. Thus, the titles presented include “Vatel” (film that opened the Cannes Film Festival in 2000 and that takes place in the early seventeenth century), “Farinelli” (awarded a Golden Globe for best foreign film in 1995) or “Fault” (1980 film version of Moliere’s work).
